How radial chip thinning is calculated

Compensation factor

Factor = D / [2 x sqrt(ae x (D - ae))]

Applied only when radial width of cut is less than half the cutter diameter.

Adjusted table feed

Feed = adjusted fz x flutes x RPM

The result maintains the target maximum chip thickness during constant, light radial engagement.
